Job Title: Mental Health Support Practitioner – Talk Well Chat

At Talk Well, we reach hundreds of children and young people every year as well as offering support and advice to parents/carers and training for professionals. We work to ensure that every young person has easy, prompt, independent access to appropriate support according to their needs.
A new Mental Health Support Practitioner position has become available within our TalkWellChat team. As an integral part of our team, you will help provide anonymous support via our helpline using telephone and instant messaging to ensure best possible outcomes for children and young people accessing the service.

Place of Work:
Talk Well, Eastgate House, Eastgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 1PX. You may also be required to attend TIC+ meetings and training related to the post at various locations across Gloucestershire as required. You will not be required to work outside the UK.
Terms: Permanent, subject to a satisfactory 6-monthprobation period and funding.
Post: Sundays – 4.45pm –9.15pm, 4.5 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: Grade B £13.83 per hour(£26,968.50 per annum, pro rata for part-time employees.
